Product Manager Advice
Dear Gulf Shadows Computer Systems Customers
April is the beginning of the 2nd Quarter and the reduction in prices at the end of the past quarter will no longer be valid . you will notice in general that supply is limited
,not because of shortage with intel but bad forecast from disti and unexpected better demand from customers . so MY ADVICE FOR YOU IS BUY AND INCREASE YOUR USUAL STOCK .
Intel has decreased the G3220 dual core price by 2$ ,to clear the remaining stocks and it is clearly not big stocks .so its a drop with a limited supply .G2030 still in demand
and still in moderate supply . its prices will be higher a bit than before as supply is not easily or immediately achieved .4150 will be in tight supply during April due to the above reasons.
Gulf Shadows will be having very good supplies from G3220 , I3 4150 ,g2030 during April Inshallah .
May will be totally different story …
May Allah be with you all .
Dear Gulf Shadows Customers
The year has started and the demand on CPU matches the usual time of the year . as expected before intel decided to withdraw the G2030 from disti . or keep it with them
if they wish but without needing badly to move it . however demand for G2030 is still there. so i expect that G2030 prices will be a little bit better .we will be having G2030
stocks for this quarter . as for Haswell the shortage created BY INTEL IS OVER . actually oversupply will be surly immediate affect due to the previous shortage .distis will
over order and the demand will not be as expected . Haswell will certainly be heard at lower than expected prices . we dont see any new processors coming this quarter till
wish you all a good first quarter .both tray and Box CPU will be served by our crew members ,wishing you all a happy journey ,Thank you for flying Gulf Shadows airlines.
Gulf Shadows dearest clients ,
Thank you for reading our advice . Last month Intel as we have expected in our advice , sitting on piles of G2030 . I3 3220 ,i3 3240 . however, what we did not expect is that they
stopped releasing all haswelll cpu to push the remaining sandy bridge stocks . that was a first for sure . the question now is whats next ?
I personally do not think that Intel move was wise .. i think that their production lines are still producing the G3220 and I3 4150 in large qty that is stored in their warehouses.
suddenly they will stop the pouring of the sandy and open the warehouses for huge thirsty market dumping them with larger than they can handle . usually end of year holidays
make everything slow and stock flows very difficult . i think that we are safe in prices till first week of January . in both Sandy and haswell . and i think it could be a chance to make
some money in both if you manage to arrange it . also i expect in January sandy bridge will be in shortage ,even though its a long shot .
Gulf Shadows this month is introducing tray G3250 , Tray I3 4130 both at very good prices . I think that you should consider them . we do have also box i3 4150 in small qty .
May allah be with you and see in You in January ….
Dear Gulf Shadows Clients ,
During November we have started doing new releases like I3 4150 instead of I3 4130 . G3240 to be replacing G3220 . so try to be careful not to stock both 4130 OR G3220
as you never know when exactly 4150 and 4130 will be same price . and then the vendor will make a special support to clear the stock reducing the price of G3220 and I3 4153 (could happen if Intel has large stock only !!) .
as for the sandy bridge , clearly the distributors are allocating more than the market need from Intel . I can sense that Intel monthly drops seems to be limitless . I dont see
that the supply will be less than the demand that is dying already . again be careful from the stock of any sandy bridge . the demand will shut down suddenly and stock will still be there.
however g2020 seems to be cleared out by Intel . and remaining is G2030 .I3 3220 – i3 3240 and very very limited stocks of 1620 .
we are approaching Christmas demand outside . but also we are approaching end of Chinese new year as well after that .demand is not as it should be in the far east !!!
clearly the H61 mainboards are filling the warehouses of the vendors …soon clearance prices will be dominant . affecting the sales of Haswell CPU . clearly we are still
living in the sandy bridge era ….
finally i don’t personally advice any stock over 2 weeks need . I don’t see any investment chance in over stocking any model….Cautious is the title of November !!!
Dear Gulf Shadows Customers ,
We have seen during the past two months the retreat of the sandy bridge intel processors and becoming as EOL (End Of Life)products
still Intel is releasing to the distributors quantities of G2020, G2030, I3 3220 I3 3240. We can clearly see that these quantities are now becoming very less .
instead of around 40k release per month to less than 15k expected this month and so the prices logically should increase on these items.and we can see that these products prices have increased in Hong Kong and the supply is less during a a still healthy demand .on the otherhand the G41 motherboards stocks are also becoming less in the market as already the
supply and demand was less than the history supply of such transient stage . the H61 mother board prices are now at 32$ replacing the segment of G41 pricing .and so for new demand
of mainboards , it will go to the H61 for all I3 and above products .Conclusion : If you have sandy bridge support mainboards ,better to buy your cpu now than to wait
as the prices will go higher and availability less . Gulf Shadows has stocks of G2020 and very limited G2030,I3 3220 I3 3240 . If you are looking for cheapest possible PC . we have
the G40 QDS mainboard plus the Pentium E2180 dual core processor for 43$ bundle .and this is on EOL basis as well . Do not stock the Sandy bridge as the demand will die faster than
it did for Pentium processors .
May Allah be with you ..
